Sept 6-9: Skill Exchange @ StoreFrontLab

Join us next week when we welcome Skill Exchange for three days of workshops offering demonstrations, conversations and tastings to teach, share and learn self-reliance skills. 

Skill Exchange at StoreFrontLab kicks off on Thursday, September 6, with a launch party, from 6-9:00pm. Stop by for live skill demonstrations, music, food, drinks and celebration.

The three days of low-cost workshops begin Friday, September 7, and feature Bay Area chefs, artisans and entrepreneurs on topics ranging from urban farming and seasonal cooking to building, mending and making. Space is limited, so be sure to register here.

Tonight at Post-Car Travel Agency, Rafi Ajl of Raphael Cycles will give a talk on welding techniques used for crafting custom bicycles. Live brazing demo included, so Rafi asks that attendees bring sunglasses for protection.

This Sunday, Deep Craft explores the secret Mission and other hidden treasures on a special pedal-powered tour with Streets of San Francisco Bike Tours. Tour departs from StoreFrontLab at 2:00 pm and runs until 5:30 pm. BYO Bike. $5 suggested donation.
