MIGRAINE
And Other Maladies Befalling the Head

Simplified, a migraine is a swelling of the brain, resulting in pain across the nervous system.  No two migraineurs experience the same pain, yet anyone who’s had even one knows it by name.  In Migraine, Sacks, dissects this condition from all angles: historic, physiologic, therapeutic, and scientific.  We extend one further: artistic.  The artworks exhibited in this week include, not only migraineurs, but also works by artists who have overcome head trauma, stroke and brain damage.
