The Invitation
Mending circles have deep cultural roots, but their principles of reuse and community have a contemporary resonance. Folks seeking a more sustainable, socially connected way of life have found solace in these informal gatherings of friends and neighbors centered around knowledge sharing and friendship. It seemed like a good fit with SHOTWELL’s mission of building community and neighborhood resiliency.
