Kids' Lantern Workshop

It wouldn’t be a community parade without children. Join us for a free, drop-in kids’ workshop where we’ll make simple lanterns from milk jugs (yay, recycling!), tissue paper and other materials. And come out for the SHOTWELL Community Lantern Parade on October 10.

This workshop is free, but please register so we can plan accordingly!

Important details:
+ Children must be accompanied by adults.
+ Some materials (googly eyes, pipe cleaners, etc.) are recommended for kids age 3 or over.
+ Bring a milk jug from home or use one of ours.
+ Shotwell Paper Mill requires participants to sign a waiver form.
+ The entry to Shotwell Paper Mill has two stairs. Please contact us with any other questions about accessibility.
