Community Lantern Parade Workshop 2

Photos by César Rubio

We had a terrific crew turn out for our first SHOTWELL Community Lantern Parade workshop. Inspired by kindred spirits from Baltimore to Bozeman, our plan is to host a series of workshops over the next few months, culminating in a fall parade along Shotwell Street.

At our second session, we will continue work underway and bring new folks into the fold. Unlike craft experiences where students make something to bring home, we are collectively sharing and learning as we build lanterns for this public celebration. Come join us!
