The Creating Artifacts Workshop and Closing Reception are the final events presented by The Society of Submerged Culture, a month-long project at StoreFrontLab by Bay Area artist Lauren Hartman. 

Big Sale asks participants to engage in an atypical commerce, the kind where "the deal" is a shared glance or a new skill, and "buy three to get one free" is a waltz with a stranger or exchange of ideas and advice.
